question 5

Non-Production team Responses:
  1. What was your favourite part of the film?
  2. What was your least favourite bit of the film?
  3. What would you score our film out of 60?
  4. Would you watch the rest of the film?
Production team Responses:
  1. What changes have we made from the first draft of the film?
  2. How happy are you with the final cut of the film?
  3. What would you score your film overall out of 60?

Non-Production Team responses: Questions 1 to 4:

1. The majority of responses were that the best part of the clip was the Slow-Mo on the bike. The shot went from a fast moving car tracking scene to slow-mo shot in which the man on the bike slowly turned his head to face the car. This shot took many takes due to the logistics of having the car bend round the corner at speed, the bike maintaining speed over broken ground and the bike staying in line with the car.

2. There was a mix of two answers to this question. These answers included a slight problem with the accents and the fall of the running man. I believe these to be relativly small problems with our film, our accents are unlikely to be perfect due our low acting ability. For our film to be profeesionaly made we could be using actors with a far higher ability or even polish actors. With regards to the fall or trip we would most likely have to refilm the scene so that the trip appears more realistic to the audience.

3. Our films scores ranged from 48-55 showing that the audienece enjoyed our film and thought it was of a high quality. If we were to score around 51 we would be very satisfied with our films results.

4. Every single individual we interviewed said that they would like to watch the rest of the film if they could this is very encourging for us and demonstrated to us that our film was sucessful and that the audience liked it.

Proudction Team Responses: Question 1 to 3:

1. The fundemental thing that arose regardring changes to our film was the inclusion of substitles and the change of the song for the chase scene. The music is a massive part of our film its really effective and fits with the picture well. When comparing the final cut with the first draft you can see the effective that the change in music has had on the production. We also increased the amount of speech which made it even more important to include substitles in the film.

2. Every single member of the production team said they were happy and proud of the film. This was the most important thing for us that we were happy with our own work.

3. our production team scored our work: 48,51,50 and 55. Our work was challenging due to the forgien nature which is why our production team believes our work merits this sort of mark.

question 6

6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

We were using Sony 8.9 Megapixel hand held cameras to film our work. The cameras have shooting and camera modes this allows us to use the cameras for anything realted to the shots in the task. We used various filming techniques such as running with the camera to create a fast pace. We also shot out the back window of a car by forcing the camera into the bottom left corner of the window frame in order to keep the camera steady over the uneven ground.

Finally, we used Premiere Pro to edit our scene, we found the software relativly easy to use after a certain level of practice. The software allowed us to edit each shot respectivly. It also allowed us to include certain effects into our work such as fade in and outs. Most importantly it allowed us to introduce subtitle and music into our work which was important when producing a polish film for a british audience. The software also allowed us to include a vital slow mo in our clip when the fast paced car scene changes to a slow mo. Finally the software allowed us to make the transitions between each shot smooth.

We used YouTube to upload our film opening. We uploaded two versions of the film the first draft and final cut. This allows us to now compare the two versions of the film. It also allows us to see the improvement we have made since the first draft of the film. The film has also been put in a roll of various films from our school this allows an independent unbias audience such as the examiner to make a judgement on the standard of the film.

We used this software to edit the sound for our film. This allowed us to get the sound to last for the correct amount of time to fit our need for the sound. We have two songs that cover the majority of the film. It was important to get an appropriate change/transition for the music to represent the change in pace of the film. We had to use the approporiate fades in sounds in order to achieve this.

We used had two main uses for Adobe photoshop. Creating our independent film logs and our posters and advertisment pictures for our film. An example of both are below... We needed are poster to be quite dark and gloomy to resembale our film. Our posters varied as they have no real relation to the film.

We used the above two to present our film. Prezi allows you to give a far more professional presentation than perhaps Microsoft's powerpoint. We used a mind map option as it was appropriate for when we were exchanging ideas on the way in which the film should be produced.

Blogger was vital throughout the entire production of the film. We used it too store all our work and ideas. We used it for helping each other within our groups. We used it for evaluation and the planning of our tasks. Without blogger our work would have been very scattered and unprofessional. However, using Blogger it allowed us to see our progress and outstanding work.

Enigma Codes for Poscig

Enigma Codes for Poscig
Enigma Codes
The audience will have questions to ask straight away:
Who is the boy on bike?
Who are the people chasing?
Whats in the briefcase?
Why did they need to shoot him?
Where is it set?
Why does he feel the need to run?

Genre Poscig

Genre
World cinema action, we only see the opening to the film however we will see a chase which instantly shows our audience the genre of the film. We hope the film will maintain a high Pace throughout. The film will contain some intense violence and intimidate sex scenes which is the reason for our 15 certificate.
We aim to make a low budget typical Independence Polish films. We will need to make our shots crisp and accurate in order to achieve this.
We will take ideas from the other block busters films such as James Bond and Safe House when making our film. We will use the idea of putting the title sequence after the first small snippet
of action instead of during the start of the film.
