Preliminary Task- Found

In the prelim task task found in my group that i was selected into was Sam,max,Elise. for the task i felt that we all got on together and got the task completed in the selected time we had to produce the task. For the task we all selected our roles we wanted to play in the task. we all also took it in turns to film different scenes of the task. to plan the task we got set we made a story board and made lists and mind map. the story board was very useful for planning because we could try and write down and draw what the scene would look like. also the lists was good because we could write down props for the task. The mind map was good because we could jot down ideas onto an easy way of explaining them. the technology we used to complete the task was  photo shop and Adobe design premium  CS5.5 we used this technology to blend all of the footage together to make it look like a movie not random videos. we also used this technology to add sounds and music to the preliminary tasks to make tension and make the video seem more entertaining.the factors we had to take into account throughout the planning and shooting were the positions we stood in for each shot to make sure that the camera was at it best angle. i thought that the preliminary task was successful to deliverer the message to the audience. i think the best points about the preliminary was the filming, i believe that this was a good point because we had a very smooth steady filming throughout there was no major unsteady points through the task. also the editing was good because we manged to add sound effects to parts and music throughout the task. the things i would do different and improve throughout the play is the costumes and some of the leading on scenes that were in different places. i would make sure next time that throughout the lay everyone was wearing the same costumes. i have learnt from the prelim task that to concentrate on little things like keeping the same costumes on the actors in all scenes not change half way through.

Representation

This is the NME front cover. the message that is trying to get represented by the singer/actor Plan B is that he is a stereo typical young adult in a hoodie. I feel that the message that plan B is trying to give off about him self is that he does not care what you think about him and that he is not a very nice person. this representation is being shown to the audience by the the things that he is doing in the image. the things that show this in the image is the swearing, smoking and the mean confrontational facial image. the reason Plan B is using this way attitude in the image is to try and draw readers into the headline. the head say 'David Cameron... be very afraid plan b is coming for you'  the effect of this representation is to make you think and believe that Plan B is going to try and kill or hurt the prime minister David Cameron.

review of First Draft

i would give first draft a 55 of 60. i would give it this grade because of all the editing and costumes the have used. i would give it this grade because throughout the opening scene the have used very different sorts of editing  flying helicopters to blood coming out of the solders when they get shot. however the reason why i didn't give this full marks is because at point in the scene you cannot hear and understand  what the students are saying. however another good point is the location they have used. this is god because there is no one around and the location is perfect. they could have improved this more by giving more of the story away because you know is that they are fighting someone and a helicopter gets shot down.

juno

This is a remake that we have done for the opening scene for Juno. for the opening scene of Juno me a kerian decided to film it in different positions around the school. we film in the school and not in school. We was set the task of to make the opening scene of Juno when she was walking down the street drink a carton of orange juice. we did our best to try and make the our Juno opening to our best ability. however our weakness of the production are the steadiness of the camera at points. the ways we could improve this is by using a tripod when using still scenes. another not so good point about the Juno opening is we needed to blend in the scene when they move onto another shot. we could of improved this by editing the scene to flow better from scene to scene. the good points about the opening scene is our costumes. our costumes was good because kerian was wearing the same cloths on every scene.

mise on scene

setting and props

the setting of the film is in London. the area of London that they have chosen to set there film n is the poorer parts of London where crime will happen.they have made London look dangerous and full of crime. they have not shown any nice parts of London or any people that are not to do with crime. the props they have used in this trailer are weapons throughout. they have used weapons to get through to the viewer that this is a violent films about crime and gangs. they have also used props showing drugs. the props that have been shown are showing what the film is going to be about.

costume facial expression
the costumes they have used throughout the trailer are hoodies hats trainers and tracksuit bottoms. these are the costumes that the boys are wearing are showing that they are not nice people. the costumes try and give this effect because the stereo type of tackies and hoodies are showing that they are not nice people and people to stay away with because they commit crime. also they are dressed in these costumes because they are showing that this is a film in a crime infested area. the girls costumes are skirts and tops. the costumes for the girls does not explain what the film is about.however one of the girls dresses in short skirts and dresses. this is showing that she is a slutty character.

lighting colour
the lighting and colour used in the trailer is to try and get the message and try create an effect of how the film is going to be. the lighting in the trailer is always dark and gloomy. they have used this dark and gloomy because it creates an effect of things that are going to happen are not going to be Happy and cheerful.also the colours used are not bright. the colours are used are dark. they have used dark colours to try and explain how the characters are through the colours and lighting of the films.
